How to choose the shell material of explosion-proof distribution box?
1. Q235 carbon steel. Impact resistance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, high mechanical strength, dustproof, waterproof and explosion-proof, medium price. It is widely used in explosion-proof distribution boxes.
2. Cast aluminum alloy, melt the cast aluminum alloy into liquid at high temperature, use a die-casting machine to quickly press it into the mold, and take it out after cooling. The process is simple. Due to the limitation of mold size, the explosion-proof box of cast aluminum alloy cannot be too large. The advantage is low cost.
3. Engineering clinker. The three-proof box shell of engineering plastics is pressed with glass-reinforced unsaturated polyester resin, which is anti-corrosion, anti-static, has good thermal stability and long life. It can achieve the effect of dustproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion, and can be used in corrosive gas environment, but engineering plastics are increased safety type and cannot be flameproof.
4. Stainless steel material. It is divided into 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. In view of the high price of 316 stainless steel, we generally use 304 stainless steel. 316 stainless steel adds molybdenum to 304 stainless steel, which has better anti-corrosion effect. Stainless steel material is beautiful in appearance, easy to clean, durable and corrosion-resistant. It can be dustproof, waterproof, explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant. The price is higher than the other three types. Stainless steel explosion-proof distribution box can be used in offshore areas with heavy salt and humidity, or corrosive gas environment.
